Abstract

This study established the best-fitting model of organizational innovation as influenced by transformational school leadership, psychological empowerment, organizational climate, and work engagement using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results showed that the best-fit model was Structural Equation Model 3, which demonstrated good fit indices.  This affirms the strong influence of transformational school leadership, psychological empowerment, organizational climate, and work engagement. Thus, the retained indicators now define the variables. Majority of the variables retained their indicators, with exemption to psychological empowerment, which retained only two indicators: meaning and impact. The study contributes a validated structural model that informs leadership development, organizational capacity building, and evidence-based policymaking aimed at fostering innovation in public elementary schools.
