Career development plays a vital role in enhancing employees’ long-term growth and organizational effectiveness despite the challenges of today’s survival-driven work environment. This survey research explored the career development practices for non-teaching employees of the University of Baguio, focusing on organizational support, supervisory support, and employees’ intrinsic motivation. The study also considered respondents’ demographics, and employment status. Findings revealed both strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement in the University’s career development initiatives. Supervisory support emerged as a significant positive influence on career development, while employment and marital status also showed meaningful associations. Overall, the results suggest that the University should further strengthen its career development programs to better prepare non-teaching personnel for evolving workplace demands.
