Abstract

This qualitative study examined how the MATATAG Curriculum is being practiced at Sulangan Central Elementary School.  The findings revealed that most of the people in the community is not aware about the curriculum, especially the private sectors such as the Church Leaders and Business Owners do not really understand the aim of the curriculum. Despite the dedication of the teachers to support the effective implementation of the curriculum, they still encounter challenges. Students confirmed that they are more interested and active in their lessons, however, there are topic that seems hard for them to understand. Also, strengthening the partnership between the school and the community to help the lack of resources and make the implementation inclusive.
