Abstract

The construction of the Palu V Bridge infrastructure impacts traffic performance at the intersection. The purpose of this study is to determine the existing traffic performance at the intersection of Emmy Saelan, Anoa, and Lalove, and to determine the impact of the addition of access on the operation of the Palu V bridge. This research uses a survey research type with a quantitative approach. The results of the study show that in the Emmy Saelan Arm, traffic can still flow well between the north and south. The unsignaled intersection of Jati Street – Lalove Street has exceeded the congestion limit requirements. The impact of the operation of the Palu V bridge shows the rise of new movements and flow diversions of 1423 pcu/hour, consisting of movements from the direction of Emmy Saelan to Jati Street of 653 pcu/hour and vice versa from the flow of Jati Street to Emmy Saelan Street of 769 pcu/hour.
